Running BcadTools after Installation

After the installation, at next start of BricsCAD, the BcadTools Freeware is loaded automatically - the menu is also loaded, and you will see a message in command line window :

"BcadTools Freeware Edition - (c) TM-CAD Engineering Torsten Moses"

Then, everything is fine.

Only, if you do not see that command line message - or after a manual installation (using ZIP install package) - then there is a very simple way to activate BcadTools - please follow these instructions :

start BricsCAD

use _APPLOAD command and load the file

if you run a x64 BricsCAD version, please select the files using x64 postfix.

(you can also use Drag & Drop, and drop the appropriate BcadTools.x.brx file into BricsCAD command line)

These manual steps need to be processed only once.

Remarks :

In further BricsCAD sessions, this BcadTools message might not be visible at BricsCAD startup - this is normal, because BcadTools is only loaded when a BcadTools command is started; this behaviour is called "DemandLoad".
